Multiple Exciton Generation of Semiconductor Quantum Dots and its Applications to Solar Cells  Semiconductor Quantum Dots, Multiple Exciton Generation, Solar Cell  2009/10-2013/03  半導体量子ドットに関して、1個のフォトンから多重励起子(MEG)を効率的に生成出来ることが最近発見され、その現象を利用した半導体量子ドット増感太陽電池の変換効率の向上に向けた研究が期待されています。本研究では、ナノ構造TiO2光電極に対して、半導体量子ドットを増感剤として適用し、①MEG効果の発現と向上に関わるメカニズムの解明と実験条件の最適化を行い、②各ナノ接合光機能界面の改質と制御に還元し、光電変換効率の向上を目指します。
