本学の機械知能システム学専攻と国際教育センターが、本学ASEAN教育研究支援センター(在バンコク)の協力の下、KMUTNBの教員と協議し、招聘学生の専門とタイの企業のニーズに基づいて、下記の交流計画を策定して本取り組みを進めている。KMUTNB工学部材料生産工学科(機械、材料、生産分野)の成績上位10%学生の中から10名の学生を選考して招聘する。本学では、関連分野研究施設を訪問し、最先端の研究に直に触れると同時に教員からのレクチャーを受け、日本の優れた科学技術に対する理解と関心を高める。
