Analysis of human multi-joint coordination and application to robot control  2009/04-Present  Aim of this study is measurement and analysis of multi-joint coordination that allows joint variavility while achieving the motor task, and understanding control mechanism of human body. Findings are applied to robot control, especially multi-joint robot. 
Elucidation of control mechanism of human multi-muscles  2015/06-Present  Human body consists of many and redundant muscles. However, we can move a joint without paying special attention, e.g., activation balance between some muscles. Such a mechanism of coordinated control of multi-msucles through psychophysical experiments. Findings are applied to the EMG-based BMI and the assistant robot. 
Quantitative evaluation of developmental coordination disorder  2015/11-Present  Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is often complicated by developmental coordination disorder (DCD). However, a method of quantitative evaluation of DCD has not been established. We quantitatively evaluate the DCD from point of view of coordinated movements analysis with Medical Institute of Developmental Disabilities Research, Showa University. Moreover, we approach the neuroscientific mechanism of ASD and DCD based on the findings from evaluation experiments.
